The LIFE LYNX PL LT DE project has been running since October 2023. Thanks to this funding, we can continue the lynx reintroduction program in northwestern Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year, our population was bolstered by 6 additional individuals, which came from foreign breeding facilities located in Germany and Austria. Thanks to many years of cooperation with private parks, we can continue releasing lynxes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, we plan to release lynxes from our own breeding, whose parents are genetically selected, and they themselves have wonderful genotypes qualifying for release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below are some photos showing the entire process of acquiring lynxes \u2013 from bringing them from western centers to their release into the wild.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
