Thanks to this, over a hundred of these unusual predators have returned to nature. Today, another three are starting their own history in the wild.

One of them, Skakun, is a young male who survived the winter — the only one found among the three orphaned kittens. A symbol of the fragility of wild nature and how much depends on the quick help of man.

The other two lynxes — a male – Ptasznik and a female Tarantula — were born in May last year in our pens. They grew up with their mothers, learning everything that is most important in a lynx’s life: caution and independence. Now the natural moment has come — the same one in which the young in the wild leave their mother and set off to find their own territories.

Today, three young lynxes have joined the wild population

Although the project initially focused on West Pomerania, we are looking more broadly.
