The LIFE LYNX PL LT DE project has been running since October 2023. Thanks to this funding, we can continue the lynx reintroduction program in northwestern Poland.
Last year, our population was bolstered by 6 additional individuals, which came from foreign breeding facilities located in Germany and Austria. Thanks to many years of cooperation with private parks, we can continue releasing lynxes.
This year, we plan to release lynxes from our own breeding, whose parents are genetically selected, and they themselves have wonderful genotypes qualifying for release.
