This year, small lynxes were born in the Dzika Zagroda, but you have already heard this wonderful news on Lynx Day. In connection with routine actions concerning the young lynxes, the first vaccination had to take place.
As is usually the case, no plan went smoothly, but after a game of cat and mouse and dedicating the appropriate amount of time, the kittens were successfully vaccinated. And it really wasn’t easy, as the mother wouldn’t even be tempted by fresh and fragrant meat.
The kittens were caught, and thanks to this, we can share more information: with Dora, we confirm 3 young, all of which are males, and with Paula – 2 young, which is a pair (female and male).
We are keeping our fingers crossed for the health of our little charges and hope that in a year they will join the ranks of free lynxes.
