We would like to thank Jeronimo Martins Polska S.A., the owner of the Biedronka chain, which, through the Polish Society for Nature Conservation „Salamandra,” donated funds to ZTP in 2022 for the protection of the lynx. Thanks to this, we were able to purchase a vehicle and other equipment necessary for carrying out tasks related to species protection and to hire an employee to support activities related to the reintroduction of lynxes in West Pomerania.

We are extremely pleased to inform you that this year, Jeronimo Martins Polska S.A. is also financially supporting the activities related to lynx protection carried out by ZTP. This support is crucial for ZTP as it significantly impacts the ability to continue the activities of the ending Project „Return of the Lynx to North-Western Poland.”

Below, we present several photos from the use of last year’s donation provided by Jeronimo Martins Polska S.A. in the form of the vehicle purchased with these funds. The vehicle is mainly used to transport lynxes from foreign breeding centers; this year, there have already been 2 trips that resulted in the transport of 5 lynxes.
