Another lynx has been successfully treated after a severe illness known as scabies💪
Kropka is a four-year-old female lynx released into the wild in spring 2021. 🌸
Last year, she became a mother for the first time! 🥰 Four kittens were born. Kropka took very good care of her offspring, but unfortunately, at the end of November, we received disturbing news. A young sick lynx was observed in Kropka’s territory, which turned out to be one of her kittens. The young one was infected with scabies❗️ Unfortunately, we found him too late, and he could not be saved, just like the other kittens from the litter ☹️
At the beginning of December, we reached Kropka, who was also in poor condition. After being captured, she was taken to a rehabilitation center, where she received appropriate treatment 💉 and returned to the wild. Kropka was released before mating season, so we hope she will breed, and in a few months, we will be able to observe her with her kittens 🐱🐱🐱😊
