Further fate of Cleo II 🐱🐱

Every day we try to find Cleo and her kittens to check if they are all together. Unfortunately, it is not that simple, as the lynx collars do not send data as often as the bison ones (due to the battery life and the low position of the lynx, which makes it harder to connect to the network)

Last week we managed to meet her on a dark night. She was calling for the kittens, but none of them appeared. This fact saddened us greatly, as it has never happened before that during our observations the young ones did not respond to their mother’s calls. Moreover, Cleo herself did not look like she was in the best shape. We did not take any actions in the hope that the kittens were with her after all.

Today we are sure, there is only one kitten Thanks to a video recorded by Mr. Łukasz, we can confirm that one of the three kittens is with the mother. We were unable to find the second one despite searching the area. Did it share the fate of its shot sister? Most likely yes. We are determined and will not give up easily
