We have a very intense time at the West Pomeranian Nature Society.
At the same time, it is the moment when nature repays for our many years of work related to the restoration of lynxes to nature.
The first vaccinations of young kittens took place in the Dzika Zagroda in Jabłonowo.
It is an obligatory action, carried out at 6 and 12 weeks of age.

In turn, inspections of births are underway in the field.
We determine the location of birthplace. We confirm whether the lynx has definitely started breeding. With the help of camera traps, we check the number of kittens born. We have 11 confirmed cats in the wild. We are in the process of counting the little ones.

Checking the recording on the camera trap – two cubs with their mother were recorded on the videotape. A lynx named Asia
The mortality rate of lynxes in the first year of life is very high, so we keep our fingers crossed for each of the lynxes born!
